Gatling support + AWS Frankfurt

April 13, 2017

We are happy to announce support for Gatling, a popular open-source load and performance testing tool. Run your Gatling simulations at scale with Testable! Oh and let’s welcome AWS Frankfurt to our list of supported regions.

Gatling

If you prefer writing your load tests with Gatling we now support running those simulations at scale on our platform. Let us help you scale your test in the cloud and get the benefit of our real time analysis, analytics, metrics, and results.

A few key features that we believe make our solution best in class:

  • Any Gatling simulation can be run on Testable without change. No need for special imports.

  • Either upload the simulation and related files to Testable or link up with a Git repository and Testable will clone it on to the test runners at test execution time. No need to keep uploading the latest version to Testable constantly. If you use on premises test runners this can even work with on premises Git setups like Github Enterprise.

  • Tracing is supported. We will sample the request/response headers and bodies and report it in the test results inline with our support for other tools. This all happens without any special syntax in the Gatling simulation.

Check out our getting started guide or detailed documentation for more details.

Hi AWS Frankfurt

You can now run your tests from the AWS Frankfurt region. This includes both the public shared grid and AWS on demand test runners.

We are happy to add additional AWS regions in the future. Please feel free to reach out and let us know which region you would like to see supported.

Try out the new features and let us know if you have any feedback or concerns. Happy testing!
